icon-camera-retro This article is about MOA Museum Of Anthropology (Hours & Price information too) Vancouver BC.
The museum is the best museum to know indian stuffs in Vancouver.
I like native culture, history and arts stuffs, so I loved it.
There are more than 535000 items, and you will see a lot of totem poles.
Also there are not only Canadian historical stuffs, but there are a lot of modern arts and countries’ historical stuffs too.
The cool building was made by the famous architect in Canada, Arthur Erickson. I think this is one of the MUST place to visit when you visit Vancouver.

Explanations (it makes you imagine how the totem poles are existed easily)

IMGP3982
There are a few of interesting native and totem poles photo books.

There is a big dilemma for native people. As their belief people should not take totem poles from their land, and should leave them alone even the totem poles are going to be rotten as wood, because that’s the nature thing.

However, white people took the totem poles for researching and exhibiting. That’s why nowadays we can see and know totem poles tho, we still need to think about the native people’s belief too.
