Kingston

I’ve visited Kingston! The city is not so very big (compering Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver,,, etc) But this city is very historical interesting city.

This city was the capital city long time ago just for  few years. (1841-1844)

Yes, for a very short term, and the capital city was turned to be Ottawa, not so far from Kingston tho. The only big one reason why was, Kingston was too near to border with America, The USA.

At the moment, British that governance Canada was afraid attacks from America to their capital city. At the time, British had “Napoleon War”, and America was trying to get the land of Canada while British had another war, BUT it was fail. (They had war for 1812 -1814)

Now Kingston is just a peaceful relaxing city.

You will the photos what I saw in Kingston downtown around!
