There is a pretty place to walk, it calls “ELDER CEDAR NATURE RESERVE”.

You can walk into the forest that has many elder tall cedar trees. The trees have been alive for so long time like over 150 years, so they are very old and tall. They looks so gorgeous green. It takes about 1 hour to walk around loop, I guess. And this place was originally native indians were live in, because there is fresh water and close to ocean. It would be nice to walk the trail If you have time. 🙂

On the way, you might see dears somewhere, because there are so many dears in this island. (no enemies for dears here!) So if you hear sound of something move in a forest, be careful to see over there. I’ve met many deers when I go on roads every time.

It is bit hard to find. There is a narrow street on North Road, and nearby Degnen Road.  When you go to the narrow street, you will find the entrance signal saying ELDER CEDAR NATURE RESERVED.
